My transfer

It is time for my next step and challenge. After two great seasons at Northern Michigan University Wildcats and, in years before, in the professional youth academy of FC Den Bosch in The Netherlands, I want to improve myself as a central attacking midfielder at D-1 level. My wish is to contribute to a challenging and competitive team and develop myself in a fresh, inspiring environment, both in soccer as in academics. I play soccer with all my heart. As an attacking player, I’m both technically and physically strong, fast and versatile. I like to vary in appropriate and direct passing play, and making actions and goals. Finally, I consider myself to be a box-to-box-player and also fulfil my defensive duties with pleasure. My good stamina helps me in doing that.

Here’s an overview of my soccer career in 2025 and years before.

2025 Northern Michigan University Wildcats

▪ Started in all 20 of 20 games: 1642 minutes. 9 Points: 3 Assists, 3 Goals.  (10^th in GLIAC).

▪ Second of the team in shots on goal (24; 4^th in GLIAC); second of the team in shot attempts (55; 3^rd in GLIAC); third of the team in assists (8^th in GLIAC).

▪ As a team we became GLIAC 2025 Champions (9-4-6 | 6-4-2).

In the first round of the NCAA National Tournament, we unfortunately lost 0-1: a tough end to a fantastic season.

2024 Northern Michigan University Wildcats

▪ Started in 15 games, played in all 16: 1055 minutes. 3 Points: 1 Assist, 1 Goal.

▪ Second of the team in shots on goal (18; 5^th in GLIAC) and third in shot attempts (32; 7^th in GLIAC).

▪ Youngest player and starter in the GLIAC. As a team, we finished 7^th  (6-8-2 | 3-8-1).

2022-2024 The Netherlands, FC Den Bosch professional youth academy U-18 & U-16

▪ Played in both CAM- and winger positions in almost all games.

▪ Top scorer of my team in both seasons (11 and 8 goals).

▪ As a team we played in the highest professional youth divisions in The Netherlands.

ABOUT MYSELF

I am social, cheerful and adventurous. I love to engage in new things, countries, places and people. My first two years as a student-athlete delivered just that. Now is the moment to discover a new environment with new challenges.

In addition to raising the bar in soccer, I’m looking for an academically strong and open minded university, in which I can finish my studies in sociology. It would be a bonus to live in an attractive region, city, and/or climate.

In my spare time I like to hang out and chill with my friends, discussing soccer, basketball, fashion styles, new bands or life in general.

Next to soccer and other sports, music is my second passion. I like to go to gigs and explore all kinds of music, varying from hip hop, to country, punk, world music, reggae and rock and roll. Just for fun I like to play the drums.
