Teun van der Donk

Teun van der Donk is a Dutch right back who came through academies at Feyenoord, Bayer Leverkusen, and FC Basel before playing for Sparta Rotterdam U19 and VOC Rotterdam's first team, and now plays for the Northeast Hawks in NJCAA Division 2. In his freshman season he made 23 appearances with 9 assists and earned 3rd Team All-American, 1st Team All-Region, and Defensive MVP honors. Known for strong 1-on-1 defending and overlapping runs down the flank, he combines technical, tactical, and physical strength. Teun's goals are to win the JUCO D2 national championship and graduate with a 3.7+ GPA.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

As a defender for the Northeast Hawks, I bring a high technical, tactical, and physical level to the pitch. As a right back I am good at defensive 1 on 1 but also love to roam forward overlapping the wingers to use my technical ability in the attacking third.

My clear main goal this year on the pitch is to win the JUCO D2 national championship. Off the pitch my goal is to graduate this fall with a 3.7+ GPA.

I am looking to find a school where I have a good connection with the coach and where the team has a good bond on and off the pitch.
