Thom Keasberry

About me

I have played football for UVV’40 and Jeka in the Netherlands, where I developed my skills and mentality from a young age. During my youth career, I was selected for the KNVB. The KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Association) is the official governing body of football in the Netherlands and is responsible for identifying and developing the most talented young players in the country. Being selected by the KNVB was a great honor and confirmed that I was competing at a high national level.

Throughout my entire youth career, I have always played in the first team of my age group. This experience taught me discipline, responsibility, and how to perform consistently under pressure while contributing to the team’s success.

My strengths as a player are my speed, dribbling ability, and composure on the ball. I am always looking to create danger going forward, whether by making runs, delivering through passes, or finishing chances myself. I enjoy playing attacking football and helping my teammates perform better.

Why College Soccer

I am highly motivated to continue my football and academic journey at an American college. The combination of high-level soccer, education, and personal development strongly appeals to me. I want to gain international experience, improve myself in a competitive environment, and learn from a different football culture. My long-term goal is to return to the Netherlands as a stronger and more complete player and continue my football career at a higher level.

I am a very driven and competitive person, and I would do everything possible to help the team succeed. I am fully committed to working hard every day and giving my all to become a champion with the team.
