Why the USA?

AN EXPERIENCE THAT LASTS A LIFETIME

The USA gives your child the opportunity to combine athletic ambitions with a university education, while learning to live independently in an international environment.
SPORTS AND ACADEMICS
Your child earns a university degree while continuing to compete at a high level, all within one campus environment.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Your child experiences a new culture, builds friendships with people from around the world and becomes more independent.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIFE
A university degree, international experience and a global network can open new doors for further study or a future career.
LIFE AS A STUDENT-ATHLETE

WHAT WILL LIFE IN THE USA LOOK LIKE?

Your child won't simply attend a university — they'll become part of a campus community where studying, sport and everyday life come together.

Costs & Scholarships

WHAT WILL UNIVERSITY ACTUALLY COST?

The published cost of a U.S. university isn’t necessarily what your family will pay. Scholarships can significantly reduce the total, while Government funding, student loans, on-campus work and earnings during breaks at home may help fund the remaining contribution.

Because housing and meals are often included, the difference compared with studying and living away from home may be smaller than expected.

HOW SCHOLARSHIPS HELP FUND COLLEGE

For many student-athletes, scholarships make studying in the USA more affordable. Athletic and academic scholarships can reduce tuition, housing, meals and other university costs—and can often be combined as part of one financial package.

We guide you and your child through the entire process, giving you the clarity and support to make informed decisions together.

PARENT ADVICE

WHAT OTHER FAMILIES WISH THEY HAD KNOWN

START EARLIER THAN YOU THINK
Recruiting, university applications, eligibility and visas all take time. Starting early gives your child more opportunities and allows your family to make decisions without unnecessary pressure.
LET YOUR CHILD TAKE THE LEAD
Your support is important, but coaches want to get to know the athlete. Encourage your child to communicate, ask questions and take responsibility throughout the process.
LOOK BEYOND THE UNIVERSITY NAME
The best-known university is not automatically the best choice. Consider the coaching staff, playing opportunities, academics, location, costs and where your child will genuinely feel comfortable.
COMPARE THE COMPLETE FINANCIAL OFFER
A larger scholarship does not always mean a lower final cost. Compare tuition, housing, meals, insurance and additional expenses to understand what your family will actually pay.
GET TO KNOW THE COACH AND TEAM
Your child will spend a significant amount of time with their coaches and teammates. Ask about the coaching style, team culture, expectations and day-to-day experience before making a decision.
PREPARE FOR LIFE AWAY FROM HOME
Finding the right university is only part of the journey. Talk openly about independence, homesickness, managing money and asking for help so your child feels prepared for life in the USA.
