My Hockey Background

I play for the Real Club de Campo Villa de Madrid U16A team. I have represented the Spanish U16 national team as captain and have also played for the Madrid regional teams at U18, U16 and U14 level.

My Hockey Game

My primary position is center back, and I can also play at fullback or in central midfield. My main strengths are my passing range, defending and aerial ability. I am confident using slap passes, drives and stretch passes to build play from the back and help my team move the ball forward.

I enjoy taking responsibility in defensive situations, staying composed under pressure and organizing play from deeper positions. My experience as a captain has also helped me develop as a communicator and team leader.

Why I Want to Play College Field Hockey

I want to play college field hockey because it offers a great opportunity to combine a high-level education with top-level hockey outside Spain. I am seriously considering the United States and would like to compete for four years while completing a bachelor's degree.

I am currently interested in mathematics and psychology, although I have not yet chosen a final major. I am looking for a university where the academic and hockey levels are both strong and where I can continue developing as a student, athlete and teammate.
