Academic Snapshot
My Soccer Background
I have developed through the entire youth system at VV Bennekom and now play for the club's first team. Growing within one club has helped me learn the game at every age level and prepared me for senior soccer.
When I was fourteen, I was invited to trial with De Graafschap and took part in eight training sessions. That experience gave me insight into a professional academy environment and motivated me to keep improving.
My Soccer Game
My primary position is attacking midfielder, and I can also play on the wing. My main strengths are my speed, intensity, ability to attack defenders one-on-one and drive to move the team forward. I enjoy combining with teammates, finding space between the lines and creating momentum in attacking situations.
Why I Want to Play College Soccer
I want to play college soccer in the United States because it offers an opportunity to take a new step both athletically and academically. I am excited by the challenge of joining a competitive soccer environment, continuing to develop my game and gaining an important international experience.
I currently study Food & Business at HAN University of Applied Sciences and am in the fourth year of my bachelor's degree. In the United States, I would like to broaden or deepen my knowledge in a field connected to my current studies while contributing to an ambitious college soccer program.
