Academic Snapshot
My Field Hockey Background
I started playing field hockey at AMHC Rood-Wit, where I played in the first selection team from the age of six through 15. In 2024, I moved to Pinoké and now play for Pinoké U18-1. I also train once a week with the Pinoké Ladies first team.
My regional and national pathway began with North Holland U14. At U15 level, I progressed to the North-West regional team and the Netherlands U15 team. The following year, I played for the Netherlands U16 team. In 2026, I took part in the Netherlands U18 selection process.
Achievements
I became a European champion at U15 and U16 level. With Pinoké U18-1, I also reached the national indoor final and the national field hockey semifinal.
My Game
I am a midfielder and attacking midfielder who enjoys playing as a number 10. My main strengths are my speed, technique and vision. I like combination hockey, constantly look for two-versus-one situations and try to connect play and create opportunities for my teammates.
Why College Field Hockey
I see studying and playing field hockey in the United States as an exciting opportunity to develop my hockey, physical and mental skills, grow as a person and meet new people. I am looking for a competitive program with involved and supportive coaches. Academically, I am interested in psychology, and one of my personal goals is to build greater self-confidence that will also help my game.
