My Field Hockey Background

I am a passionate and driven field hockey player from Auckland, New Zealand. My primary position is centre midfield, although I am also comfortable playing on either wing. I contribute in both attack and defence, connect play and create scoring opportunities.

I started playing hockey in Year 3. While I also participated in swimming, tennis and netball, hockey quickly became the sport I chose to pursue. I have represented my school and Auckland, including selection for the Auckland U16 and U18 teams, where I was one of the youngest players selected.

In 2024, I won the National Federation Cup with Diocesan School for Girls. I was named the Diocesan First XI MVP in 2026 and was selected for the Tridents high-performance camp within the New Zealand Hockey pathway.

My Game

I enjoy setting up plays, connecting with teammates and creating attacking opportunities. I play with my head up, scan the field and read the game so I can make good decisions under pressure. I also value my defensive work and the versatility to contribute in different positions.

I am passionate, competitive and coachable. My strengths include vision, work rate, fitness and composure. I welcome feedback and continuously work to improve technically, tactically and physically while supporting my team.

Why College Field Hockey

I want to play college field hockey in the United States because it offers the chance to compete in a strong athletic environment while pursuing an excellent education. I am interested in business and marketing and am looking for a university with strong academics and a supportive, competitive team culture.
