Janne van Brummelen
Janne van Brummelen is a Dutch center back and defensive midfielder who has played at the highest levels of Dutch women's soccer throughout her career, helping Sparta Rotterdam earn promotion with the first team in 2019/2020 and serving as the club's second captain. She previously won the 2017 Euroleague championship against top German, Belgian, and Dutch teams and finished fourth at an international tournament in Madrid. Two-footed and primarily a left center back, she is known for her passing, communication, and ability to organize the build-up from the back while also doing the difficult defensive work. Janne is pursuing further opportunities in US college soccer as a transfer student.
