My Soccer Background

I currently play for Spartaan'20 O21/O23 in Division 3, primarily as a center back and also as a defensive midfielder. Before joining Spartaan'20, I played for Alexandria '66 at Division 3 level. I have also gained valuable experience through trial periods with PSV and ADO Den Haag.

My strengths are my cross-field passing, tackling, strength in duels and ability to read the game. I am technically comfortable in small spaces and like to carry the ball forward from defense to help my team build attacks. My background in judo and combat sports has also contributed to my balance, discipline and confidence in physical situations.

Why I Want to Play College Soccer

I want to play college soccer in the United States because it will allow me to keep developing as a player while earning a degree. I am motivated to take important steps in my game, learn in a competitive environment and work toward playing at a semi-professional or professional level.

I currently study Sport and Exercise Leadership at Albeda at MBO level 3. At college, I am interested in studying Criminology or a sport-related degree while contributing to an ambitious soccer program.
