My Hockey Background
I started playing hockey at Maidenhead Hockey Club when I was six years old and moved to Guildford Hockey Club at the age of twelve. At Guildford, I played for the U13, U14 and U16 first teams as well as the Ladies team, and toured the Netherlands and Belgium.
I joined Reading Hockey Club for the 2025/26 season. I was selected for the Reading Girls Talent Academy and Reading Girls U16 A, competing in the England Hockey U16 Girls Supra League. I also played for Reading Ladies 3s in South Central Women’s Premier Division 1. Alongside my club hockey, I train and play with Flame Hockey Academy and have weekly one-to-one sessions with former England international Lucy Wood.
Reading U16 finished third at the 2025/26 England Hockey National Supra-League Finals, and the Reading Talent Academy finished second at the national finals out of 24 teams. Previously, Guildford U16 finished fourth at the 2024/25 national Supra-League Finals, and I represented Surrey County U15 during the 2024/25 season. I have been selected to attend Ireland U18 trials on 20 September 2026.
I am an attacking midfielder and forward. My strengths include speed, acceleration, change of direction, aerobic capacity, high-intensity pressing, distribution and attacking versatility. I enjoy eliminating defenders, creating and finishing chances, and I also work on drag flicks and shuffles. I bring a team-first mindset, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Off the field, I support younger players as a Young Leader coaching Reading’s U8 and U10 groups. I am a dual British and Irish citizen.
I attend St George’s Ascot as an academic and sports scholar. My academic profile is equivalent to a 4.0 GPA. I am beginning A Levels in Economics, Geography and History and intend to study a Business- or Finance-related major.
Why I Want to Play College Field Hockey
I want to study and play field hockey in the United States because the college system offers the opportunity to combine strong academics with high-level sport in a professional environment. I am excited by the chance to develop as a player and person while contributing to an ambitious team.
My long-term goal is to play international hockey. I believe the intensity, resources and team culture within U.S. college field hockey can help me take the next steps toward that goal while preparing for a future in Business or Finance.
