Before embarking on her American soccer and academic journey, Janne played as a center back for Sparta Rotterdam's U23 team. As a captain at DIA, she led her squad to victories against strong teams like Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona. Janne's skills, coupled with her social spirit, left an indelible mark on her early soccer years. Eager for both academic and athletic excellence, she set her sights on the United States, where her next chapter in her soccer and academic career started at the University of Louisiana Monroe.
