About myself
Hi, my name is Alexander Boel, and I am currently 18 years old. I graduated from secondary education when I was 17 years old.
I started playing soccer in a club at the age of eight. My first club was PVC, where I progressed through all consecutive selective youth teams, playing at the highest regional level (Hoofdklasse). At the age of fifteen, I made my debut in the first senior team of PVC, competing in the senior third "klasse”. Playing men’s soccer at a young age taught me a lot about physicality, tempo, discipline, and responsibility. Today, I still benefit from these experiences, as they helped me to mature as a soccer player.
After one and a half seasons with the first team of PVC, I was scouted by SV Kampong. I initially joined the U19-1, but after six months I moved up to the U23-1, at the age of seventeen.
At the same time, I started competing for “Jong Kampong”, a development team consisting of first-team players and top youth talents. With this team, we became champions of a special talent competition, last season.
Currently, I play as a striker or left winger for the SV Kampong U23-1. My strengths include strong tactical awareness, goal-scoring ability, ball retention, and physical presence. I am athletic, powerful, and very strong in the air, which allows me to be effective both in build-up play and in the box.
I am now ready for a new challenge, and I strongly believe that the United States is the perfect next step for my development. I want to train every day, both on the field and in the gym, while continuing to grow as an athlete and as a person. At the same time, I am highly motivated academically and value the opportunity to combine high-level football with a college education.
Why College Soccer
My goals at university are to graduate with strong academic results, build meaningful friendships, and fully enjoy college. With the soccer team, my ambition is to compete for championships, and I think that building strong chemistry and becoming part of a close, committed group is important for that. I strongly value strong coaching relationships for competing at a top level.
My long-term ambition is to play football at the highest level possible. If that leads to a professional career, I will pursue it with full dedication, but regardless of the level, I always strive to maximize my potential. Through this experience, I aim to create unforgettable memories and, above all, become a better footballer and a better person.
