About myself
I am Dante Di Ieva, an 18-year-old center back (195 cm, 86 kg). My main strengths are defensive reliability, strong 1v1 defending, dominance in aerial duels, and effectiveness in physical duels. I am comfortable defending crosses, and I distribute the ball with accurate passes at the right tempo. Despite my size, I possess solid technical ability and contribute well to structured build-up play. I have consistently competed at the highest amateur level. Between the ages of 13 and 16, I played in the U14-1, U15-1, and U16-1 (division 3/4) at Koninklijke HFC. In the following seasons (division 4–5), I represented BVC Bloemendaal, where I was a starter in the top team of my age group and periodically involved with the senior first team. I have been selected twice for the KNVB Talent Team. Last year, I was scouted by Almere City and FC Emmen.
Why College Soccer
I love soccer. I can be on the pitch the whole day, it is a fantastic sport. That is why I believe this is a great opportunity to help the school win games. I want to compete at the highest level possible and win everything. On this journey, I hope I have a great experience with a high level of soccer and a college degree. I am really excited to go on this journey.
