About Me

I started my soccer career at my local club, VV Heeswijk. When I was 11 years old I moved on to one of the bigger amateur clubs in the Netherlands, Blauwgeel’38. At 15 I was scouted by FC Den Bosch, one of the top youth clubs in the Netherlands. I played there until I was 17, when I left to the United States to play for Northern Michigan University.

VV Heeswijk: 6-time champion, Noord-Brabant soccer player of the year.
FC Den Bosch: 2-time champion of the Dutch second division, U16 + U18.
Northern Michigan: Honorable mention (freshman), All Gliac tournament team and Gliac tournament champion (sophmore).

My strengths on the field are: running ability, defending, passing and physiscal duels.

Why transfer

I am looking forward for a transfer to a D1 university because I want to further develop myself in soccer and measure myself against the best soccer players at the highest level of American college soccer. After winning the Gliac tournament with nmu and reaching the national for the first time in history, I feel that I am ready for a new challenge where I can push my limits, personality wise and soccer wise. In addition, I am looking for a degree program that aligns well with my interests (sports/coaching). And allows me to earn my degree.

At the same time I want to discover more of America and further immerse myself in the culture.
